Our Team

Living Towns is a not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee. Our team consists of a board and executive management plus consulting professionals. At this point in time we are currently recruiting new board members that will add experience and skills to the Living Towns organisation. New appointments will be made very soon and will be included on this page.

Board and Management

Greg Winning

Greg Winning – Executive Director and Co-Founder

Greg is the other co-founder of the organization. A social entrepreneur, he has a background in sales

and marketing with major print media including WA Newspapers Ltd. For the best part of the last decade he has run a marketing consultancy specializing in social and sustainability focused enterprises. He lives in rural Western Australia and has a passion for community, entrepreneurism and civic participation. He is responsible for the development and delivery of community projects and community engagement.

Alison Dalziel

Alison Dalziel – Chairperson

Alison is an economist with over 20 years of experience in the public sector and is currently consulting in the local government sector in Western Australia.  She has a strong background in economic development at local, regional and

national levels.  Alison has worked in several government departments and councils in a variety of senior technical and management roles, including a period as adviser to the New Zealand Prime Minister on local government, regional development and sustainable development. Prior to her arrival in Perth, Alison was on the management committee for Inspiring Communities, which is a national not-for-profit network for community-led development.

Steven Stanbrook – Non Executive Director

Steven is an owner/director of Elders Insurance Midland, one of Western Australia’s largest rural insurance branches and was Chairman of Toodyay and Districts Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank, overseeing the start-up of one of the first of these community banks in Western Australia.
He has an extensive network within the rural industry and throughout rural Western Australia and beyond.

He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Tony Ciallella – Non Executive Director

Tony is a highly regarded Rotarian and former CEO of Gryphon Consultants, an IT recruitment and career guidance business. He has served on various company boards and not for profit organisations including Amaroo Village, Rotary Club of Perth, Perth City Markets, WA Music Students Foundation, Curtin University Foundation and Curtin Masters of Leadership Management. Tony was also actively involved in promoting and developing the Days of Change program for the WA launch in 2010.

Len Luxford – Non Executive Director

Len is the director of Bench Ad Media, a niche outdoor advertising company based in Perth and has worked as a lawyer in the area of indigenous

affairs. He has strong connections in the aboriginal community and brings a vital perspective on regional community development to the board.

Anne Goodall – Community Development Specialist

Anne is an experienced community development specialist, with a particular interest in social and creative entrepreneurism, re-localisation and place making. As Director of Anne Goodall Consulting, she works alongside Local Councils, community organisations and groups, government agencies and private companies to help build vibrant and resilient communities. Anne is well known for her recent role managing the highly regarded Growing Communities WA project, a two-year project supporting the development of community gardens across WA. Her community development work is underpinned by strong social research skills, honed during previous roles with the Research Centre for Stronger Communities at Curtin University and the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Martin Graham

Martin Graham – Co-Founder

Martin is one of the co-founders of Living Towns who has recently retired from the organisation to pursue further interests. His insight and passion for the helping communities was key to developing the Living Communities concept. He remains a passionate supporter of the project and will continue to be a contributor to the organisation on a less formal basis. Thanks Marty.
