Living Towns is currently on the hunt for an economist we can engage from time to time with our projects.

We need an economist who’s business is based in Western Australia.

What we’re looking for is someone who understands and believes in Living Town’s approach, that is, the economy is only one system that works within ecological, social and cultural systems too. We also need someone who has expertise in local economic development and understands the potential for communities to create prosperous and sustainable futures.

It would be good if you were familiar with the work of the New Economics Foundation and groups like the Business Alliance for Local Living Economies in the USA.
